4/11/2009 Strength through Mobility. Continuing with the popularity of our last mobility clinic, this workshop will begin to delve deeper into the meditative communication between mind and muscle. To move harder, move faster, or move heavier, we have to move BETTER. Yet with all this training we might actually be building tension patterns that are restricting our potential and possibly leading to injury. This is the oft-neglected aspect of strength training, yet as essential as maximum force development. By stealing a little from yoga, dance and martial arts, we’ll introduce you to some basic mobility drills that will keep you moving better, and begin the journey to letting movement inspire the mind, and vice versa. This will be a precursor to our movement meditation workshop in May.
