WINTER STRENGTH CAMP, 2009
It is time for the first of our 2009 Strength Camps. Pick your favorite holiday and then double the excitement, that’s my reaction when the calendar starts shouting out the approaching power party. 2 days of learning, growing, inspiring, connecting and good ol’ moving with heavy things. It could be said that there will be a theme to this particular camp, and that is FREE THOUGHT. The goal will be to enhance your awareness of your own abilities, ideas and creativity and give you a stronger understanding of your little slice of Anime Mundi.
You are the artist, the gallery and the critic. Most importantly, you are the art.
You are the scientist, the laboratory and the research paper. And, of course, you are the science.
The only dogma we should bring to the camp is vehement passion, and your final exams, which are perpetual (and of the take-home-test variety), will be graded by your ability to process, discern and create.
All the info you need to be part of this event is here:Strength Camp 2009.

Upcoming Stuff
This weekend, celebrate Valentine’s Day by improving your snatch. This Saturday, from 10-noon, our weekly Tune-Up series brings you part one of the Introduction to Olympic Lifting: The Snatch. Free to tribe members (but a $5 donation would be excepted), $15 for anyone else. What better way to spend a Saturday!

Hey Chip, Got an email from Susie. How many out-of-towners do you expect to come to Winter Camp? I can try and get a group rate again if there’s enough interest.
I have room for 2-3 people at my pad, too.
I’m in Arcata. I am planning on coming down to the tribal office for the first time to the camp. I’m heading to the east coast tomorrow, but I will sign up soon probably while I am in the east. I have not made lodging arrangements yet. I am hoping to bring some other Arcatans with me, but not sure if others will have the money. I am looking forward to the weekend.
Josh, Breon……either of you going to be in town for camp ?
